This workshop is part of the Graphics Lab, a project aimed at picture retouching to improve the graphical content of the Wikimedia projects. This specific page is the requests page for the Photography Workshop. Anyone can make a request for a photograph to be improved. The standard format for making a request is shown below, along with general advice, and should be followed.

Just inspired by above photo, which was taken in 2011. After two building were converted to National Gallery Singapore, I see it would be meaningful to take photo again for the same site and the similar viewpoint. This illustration was already restored with the fine work of PawełMM. But I have now submitted the image for featured picture candidacy, and the reviewers are requesting that further restoration work be carried out to improve the quality at the page join in the middle of the image. Unfortunately it ended up failing the review, due to lingering issues with the join. :( A reviewer highlighted the inconsistency in the pattern of the stairs, when compared with the original version, as well as some blurry parts (e.g. where one of the lawyer's robes end and the staircase begins). --Grnrchst (talk) 14:31, 15 February 2024 (UTC)

According to the sources: img1, img2 and img3 ([1]), the "Chu Hua Yuan" clogs in Chaoshan are similar to the Japanese Geta. but unfortunately, Commons does not have the relevant pictures.
