You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold when contributing and assume good faith when interacting with others. This is a wiki. More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). 34 more Flickr Duplicates tagged.[edit]
Fyi, I tagged another thirty-four (34) your recent duplicate Flickr file uploads today. These are different from the six (6) duplicate Flickr uploads that another volunteer and I had just previously tagged. So, that is forty (40) duplicates in less than two days.
I note that you have reverted that information from your talk page here: [1].
Does the "archive BOT" on your talk page, archive your manual reverts of talk page content or will this reverted text never appear within the talk page's "archive"? -- Ooligan (talk) 02:42, 27 January 2024 (UTC)
- @A1CafelPinging regarding my question. -- Ooligan (talk) 18:00, 3 February 2024 (UTC)

- So you've hidden it from searches. Convenient. Andy Dingley (talk) 13:07, 4 February 2024 (UTC)
- @Andy Dingley- So, if talk page text is deleted, instead of normal archiving, that deleted text is "hidden from searches" by other Commons volunteers using the search function? --Ooligan (talk) 03:39, 17 February 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, only the current versions of pages are searched. That's why we use archiving, moving old content 'sideways' to a different page name, rather than expecting search to work across the histories. Andy Dingley (talk) 03:44, 17 February 2024 (UTC)
- I did not know that there was a way of effecting the search function results for anyone doing research on past edits. Thank you @Andy Dingley for your explaination. --Ooligan (talk) 06:42, 18 February 2024 (UTC)

File:Christmas Card issued by H.R.H. Queen Elizabeth II (1987) (52344711248).jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.
If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues. |

File:Munich airport-Wanted poster from Jan Marsalek and Thaab El-Rawi-01ASD.jpg[edit]
Hallo A1Cafel. Du hast File:Munich airport-Wanted poster from Jan Marsalek and Thaab El-Rawi-01ASD.jpg zur Löschung vorgeschlagen.
